Welcome to the Westbury bypass website

Plans for the long awaited Westbury bypass were given the go ahead in May 2007. The bypass will take an eastern route round the town, halving traffic in Westbury, improving the local environment and improving transport links for local businesses. A public inquiry is expected to take place later this year and work could start at the end of 2008. On this site you will be able to follow the timetable for the construction of the bypass, take a look at the route, explore environmental measures and get your questions answered.
